
Very fine, long, thin strands of egg noodle, also known as angel hair, this is the finest, thinnest cut Spinosi makes. It is just barely thicker than some commercial angel hair. But the taste is superior. A summertime favorite is a 3-minute sauce of garden tomatoes, salt, black pepper, and a little extra virgin olive oil. Toss with maccheroncini and top with slivered basil leaves and a sprinkling of Parmigiano-Reggiano. Maccheroncini cooks in 60 seconds.
